By: The Daily Cardinal /The Daily Cardinal  - February 13, 2008

Actors Kal Penn and Brandon Routh will be stumping for U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., in Madison Thursday night. The event will take place at Obama’a campaign office at Laundry 101, 437 W. Gilman St., at 7:30 p.m.

Penn’s acting credentials include “Harold and Kumar go to White Castle,” “National Lampoon’s Van Wilder” and “24.” Routh had a starring role in “Superman Returns.”

Penn and Routh add some Hollywood starpower to an already eventful Thursday, with Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee stopping by the Concourse Hotel at 10:30 a.m. and Bill Clinton speaking at Madison’s Stock Pavillion at 2:30 p.m.
